Lonches con CCAS

Lonches con CCAS is the culmination of a years-long effort by CCAS graduate students to create a Brown Bag space wherein CCAS graduate students, CCAS faculty, and often the UCLA community at large can come together to build and sustain our relationships with another. Lonches con CCAS officially began in Winter 2021 and is organized by CCAS Graduate Student Representatives according to the needs and interests of CCAS graduate students.

Lonches con CCAS consists of both graduate student workshops facilitated by CCAS faculty as well as salones (skill-building seminars) to support graduate students in their professionalization and methods development. The goal is to foster a continuous learning space of information and skill sharing, workshopping and brainstorming of ideas, cross-instruction, and community building.

Special thank you Lucia Leon, Alana de Hinojosa, Kimberly Miranda, and Rafa Solorzano for their labor and love building and sustaining Lonches con CCAS. And much gratitude to Daniela Jimenez and other CCAS Graduate Student Representative for their work establishing the format of CCAS salones; this infrastructure was integral to building Lonches con CCAS.
