CCAS Statement on 2024 UAW Strike

Given our origins in a historic hunger strike 31 years ago, the César E. Chávez Department of Chicana/o and Central American Studies supports the rights of graduate student workers to strike. Members of our Department will not cross the picket line, will not pick up struck labor, nor retaliate against graduate students.
